Local Hazard Information
The FordPass Connect modem can alert you to local driving hazards that could affect your journey. These could include instances such as road works, obstructions in the road and even a broken-down vehicle that could affect your drive. Your Ford will receive information from any nearby connected vehicles, along with other local sources and will alert you of an approaching hazard, in which a warning will be displayed on the digital display screen. This warning will inform you of the type of hazard and its distance from your car.
Current Traffic Information
Live Traffic will enhance your SYNC 3 Navigation system by delivering current traffic updates. This is Ford’s most up to date navigation system and includes traffic information for all roads, instead of just main roads. The technology will then adjust your route based on the traffic conditions, providing you with a more relaxed journey and allowing you to arrive on time.
Additional Peace of Mind
Ford has included an All-New-Ford eCall, which could be a potentially life-saving feature. This is designed to reduce the time between an accident occurring and assistance being provided by emergency services. This feature can automatically place an eCall to the emergency services in the unlikely event of an accident and provide them with the location of your car. There is also an SOS button in your car for you to be able to contact the emergency services directly in the event that you witness an accident or require emergency assistance.
Simple Connectivity
The car provides an in-car WIFI hotspot offering speeds of up to 4G LTE, meaning you and your family will not need to use your valuable smartphone data allowance in order to stay connected. The hotspot allows for a maximum of up to 10 devices and allows you to load your favourite streaming services, which can make those monotonous journeys seem shorter for any passengers or children that may be travelling with you in your car. FordPass Connect comes with 3 months of complimentary data.

Fuel Report

This feature can record your journeys and tailor insights as to how you can optimise your driving technique. Each journey is tracked and stored, which allows you to compare data by distance, duration and more. The app can also provide useful feedback as to how you can drive more efficiently.
Start Your Engine From Anywhere
With an automatic Ford transmission, you can start your car’s engine from the comfort of your home using your smartphone. This is a great feature for those cold winter days when your car has iced over - your car will be warm and ready for when you wish your journey to begin. Your car will still require the key before it can be driven and this feature automatically locks the doors while the engine is running.
Remote Locking and Unlocking
You can now remotely lock and unlock your car using the FordPass app and this simple feature means you won’t have the worry of rushing back to your car if you feel you have forgotten to lock the doors.
Never forget where you’ve parked
your car again
You’ll never have to search for your parked car again in an unfamiliar place as the FordPass app is home to a map that shows you car’s exact location.
Remote Vehicle Monitoring
This allows you to make sure your car is ready for the drive ahead as with the Vehicle Status feature you can check your car’s fuel level, tyre pressure and mileage before you start your journey.
Vehicle Health Alerts
Vehicle Health Alerts You can receive Vehicle Health Alerts directly to your smartphone and the app can also tell you when to change your oil, when a lightbulb has failed or whether your engine is overheating. The alert will pin-point the exact issue and will even provide you with a recommended course of action to take. In addition to this, you can call Roadside Assistance or schedule an online appointment with your preferred Ford dealer.
