Trims and Specifications

Five distinct trim levels are available, allowing you to choose the model that meets your individual style. These are: Centre-Line, Newground, Exclusive-Line, Homura, and Takumi.

Additionally, it’s worth noting that mild hybrid technology has been added to all petrol variants of the 2023 model. This should produce average C02 emission reductions of around 9g/km.

The Centre-Line CX-5 is the entry-level trim. It comes with a 165ps e-Skyactiv G petrol, or 150ps Skyactiv-D engine.

Next up is the Newground trim, which comes exclusively with the 165ps e-Skyactiv G engine. Styling elements such as black door mirrors, 19-inch black diamond cut alloys, and lime green accents in the grille add to its sporty aesthetic.

Predicted to be the UK’s best-selling model, the Exclusive-Line comes with a choice of 165ps e-Skyactiv G petrol, or 150ps and 184ps Skyactiv-D diesel engine options. The diesel option offers front or all-wheel drive.

The Homura trim has a unique, athletic look, complete with gloss black detailing, red accents within the grille, and 19-inch black alloy wheels. It is available with the 165ps e-Skyactiv G petrol engine with front wheel drive.

The flagship CX-5 comes in the Takumi trim. It has a real aura of luxury, featuring premium materials and innovative technology for your comfort and convenience. The model comes in a choice of powertrain options, with the 2.0-litre 165ps e-Skyactiv G, 194ps 2.5-litre e-Skyactiv G petrol, and 184ps Skyactiv-D diesel available.

Jeremy Thomson, Managing Director, Mazda Motors UK, commented: “The Mazda CX-5 is an incredibly important car in Mazda’s history. From the launch of the original first-generation car in 2012 it has been a hugely popular choice for UK SUV buyers, who have loved its style, quality, and driver engagement. It’s the car that established Mazda as a maker of genuinely sporty SUVs, which deliver class leading quality and high levels of standard equipment”.

The 2023 CX-5 is part of Mazda’s evolving SUV range that offers customers a wide choice for their motoring needs.
