Coming Soon: The Nissan Ariya NISMO

The performance edition of Nissan’s award-winning electric SUV offers sporty style and advanced design.

Summer may feel like another lifetime, but it wasn’t so long ago we shared Nissan’s reveal of the New Ariya NISMO.

With the model set to launch next year in 2025, we’re taking a look at what it has to offer. Read on for everything from design and performance to pricing and availability.

Sporty design

NISMO is Nissan’s recently reclaimed high-performance brand, so it follows that the new edition requires its own staple design.

Setting it apart from the crowd, the New Nissan Ariya NISMO boasts several sporty, unique design touches. From the NISMO logo and signature red accents to a distinctive twin diffuser and 20” Enkei alloy wheels.

Inside, the style continues with red ANDON interior illumination, unique seats, and further red accents. The horizon dashboard design of the Ariya is continued in the Ariya NISMO, with haptic controls for an easy-to-use, tactile response.

Curved 12.3” displays rest elegantly along the dashboard in a line, presenting a clean, modern centre for connectivity.

Athletic performance

Made to do more than look easy on the eyes, the Ariya NISMO offers a next-level driving experience. With up to 435PS of pure electric power and 600Nm of torque, it races from 0-62mph in just five seconds. This makes it faster than the renowned R35 GT-R NISMO.

Every inch of the new Ariya NISMO has been expertly crafted to maximise performance. From improved springs and dampers to a new stabiliser bar, the result is sharper handling and a more dynamic drive.

With optimised aerodynamics, the Ariya NISMO has the wind on its side with increased downforce. This helps both increase stability and reduce wind noise, for a more confident, enjoyable drive.

Other features include high-grip tyres for increased control, and the finely tuned e-4ORCE system. This works alongside the suspension to monitor driver input, controlling the brake pressure if needed.

Range figures are still to be officially confirmed, though it’s expected to offer around 300 miles on a full charge.
