Introducing the New MG5 EV
The MG5 EV has been revamped, and there’s plenty to shout about.
The upgrades to the popular, all-electric estate car were revealed at the Goodwood Festival of Speed Electric Avenue Event earlier this summer. First customer deliveries are expected at the end of the year.
The new model will showcase a number of exterior and interior styling updates, and enhanced technology features for greater comfort, convenience, and safety.

Highlights
The new MG5 EV has a more modern and sportier appearance thanks to upgraded front and rear bumpers, redesigned LED head and rear lights, and some fresh wheel designs.
Inside, technology highlights include a new 7-inch digital driver display and a 10.25-inch widescreen infotainment system, which comes with upgraded software that allows users to connect to their vehicle through the iSMART app.
Plus, the innovative Vehicle-To-Load (V2L) technology (first featured on the MG ZS EV) will allow users to charge and power other devices (e.g., e-bikes, portable heaters and camping equipment) using surplus energy stored in the vehicle’s battery.
The new MG5 EV will remain the same size as the previous model, offering a large boot (volume 1,367 litres) and plenty of space for driver and passengers inside.
The model also comes with roof rails that can carry cargo loads up to 75kg.
Official homologation statistics have not yet been finalised, therefore charging and range figures will be released in due course.

Pricing Details
The styling, equipment and technology upgrades seen on the new MG5 EV have resulted in small price increases for both trims. For SE models, the starting price is £30,995, and for Trophy models the starting price is £33,495.
