The Japanese manufacturer has launched its latest van model: the Nissan Townstar. The model is available as a fully electric version or with a traditional petrol engine. Both versions deliver low running costs and practicality.

Nissan Townstar, the second electric van within Nissan’s range, is here to help customers and businesses go green. Since cities in the UK have introduced clean air zones, the popularity of electric vehicles has increased rapidly. They have lower tax liability and free access in clean air zones.
The model has won the Compact High Cube Van of the Year in the 2023 Great British Fleet Awards . It was praised for its smart dimensions, powertrain options and practical design.

Ready to switch to electric with Nissan Townstar?
Nissan Townstar
You can choose from two available powertrains: a petrol engine or 100% electric (EV).
With the fully electric model, you can expect a strong 45kWh battery, with great charging options. Charge the Townstar from 15-80% in just 37 minutes with the DC CCS rapid charger. The EV also comes with a slower AC charger.
You can drive up to 183 miles (WLTP Combined) with the electric model. If you prefer to extend your miles even further, turn on the City Cycle . This will give you a range of up to 269 miles.
The petrol version of the Nissan Townstar delivers 130hp along with fantastic fuel economy. Experience faster acceleration and a more relaxed ride thanks to its six-speed manual transmission.
The latest LCV also provides an impressive payload. You can fit up to 600kg of load with the shorter version (L1), and up to 800kg with the longer model (L2). In terms of cargo space, Townstar can take on between 3.3 to 4.3 cubic metres of load – this is two Euro pallets.

The shorter version (L1) includes a single sliding door, while the longer model (L2) comes with twin sliding doors.
Nissan Townstar also comes packed with the latest technologies. Use the 8-inch touchscreen for infotainment, navigation, and more. With the Tekna+ trim level, you can view all essential driver information on the 10-inch screen, located in front of the driver.
