Special edition Mazda2 released for New Year
Two special edition five-door Mazda2s in black and white have been released to mark the start of 2015.
The models are priced from £12,145 on-the-road, making it yet another competitive entry to the supermini market for Mazda.
The Black Edition and the White Edition come in Micra Jet Black and Crystal White Pearlescent, as you might expect. There are also options for diffuser-style rear bumper trim, a black rear spoiler, heated and folding wing mirrors, tinted rear passenger windows and 15-inch alloy wheels.
For the image-conscious, you can also have colour-coordinated bonnet and roof stripes at no extra cost.
There’s substance as well as style, with manual air conditioning, a two-speaker CD player, USB and AUX connectivity all backed up by a punchy 1.3 litre petrol engine. A bluetooth-enabled hands-free system has been integrated into the steering wheel as standard.
Mazda UK Sales Director Peter Allibon said: “As with every Mazda special edition model, they combine bespoke exterior and interior styling with a lavish standard equipment specification, offering customers stand-out individuality and outstanding value for money.”
