Vauxhall Joins Tesco as Clubcard Points Partner
The announcement follows a previous partnership between the two brands earlier this year.
- Car manufacturer Vauxhall has announced a partnership with UK supermarket brand Tesco.
- The new partnership offers new Vauxhall customers the chance to collect 50,000 Clubcard Points with their new passenger car. Equivalent to £500 to use in-store or online at Tesco, or £1,000 to use with Tesco Clubcard Reward Partners.
- It follows a previous collaboration between the two, offering new Vauxhall customers a year’s free charging at Tesco stores.
Vauxhall has become an official Clubcard Points Partner with Tesco, as part of a wider strategy to support electric vehicles (EVs).

What is the partnership?
Vauxhall has joined Tesco as a Clubcard Points Partner to bring exclusive benefits to new Vauxhall customers.
Those buying a new Vauxhall passenger car from the range will be eligible to collect 50,000 Clubcard Points. This is equivalent to £500 to spend in store or online at Tesco, or £1,000 to spend with Tesco Clubcard Reward Partners.
The offer can be used in conjunction with the One Year’s Free Charging (worth £675) offer across Tesco stores launched earlier this year.
How do I redeem the offer?
If you’re buying a new Vauxhall passenger car, you can fill in an online form to redeem your points.
You’ll need to provide your Clubcard Number along with your name, email address, and vehicle registration, as well as a dealer code.
Vauxhall will then share this information with Tesco so that your account can be credited with the points. These should be applied within 14 days of your vehicle collection date.

Vauxhall continues to stand out as a brand dedicated to supporting the uptake of electric vehicles (EVs).
This new partnership follows a series where the brand has worked hard to make EVs more accessible and enjoyable for everyone to own.
In 2023, Vauxhall launched their Electric Streets initiative, after research showed a lack of access to home charging. The scheme allowed EV drivers to register their needs locally to help build a nationwide map of current demand.
Earlier this year, the brand launched a partnership with Tesco to help improve the public charging network. This offered new electric Vauxhall customers a year’s free charging at 619 Tesco stores, creating access to over 2,900 charging bays.

Customers will receive 50,000 Tesco Clubcard points (worth £500 in Clubcard vouchers) when purchasing a new Vauxhall.
Available across the Vauxhall Passenger Car Range on Private Retail channel orders from 3rd June 2024 until 31st December 2024. Offer not redeemable for Motability or Fleet sales. Offer not redeemable on Light Commercial Vehicle sales.
To participate in the offer, customers must provide a valid Tesco Clubcard number at the time of vehicle collection in an Authorised Vauxhall New Car Retailer in the UK (including NI). Please note, Clubcard Points will be applied within 14 days of vehicle collection. Please make sure you provide the correct Clubcard number. Points cannot be reallocated once a Clubcard number has been submitted.
