Vauxhall Partner with Tesco to Offer One Year's Free Charging for New EV Drivers
It came into effect on 15th February, with an aim to improve the public charging network in line with Vauxhall’s Electric Streets Initiative.

Last year, Vauxhall announced their Electric Streets Initiative to help local areas gain access to home charging.
Now, the manufacturer has taken things one step further, teaming up with supermarket giant Tesco to make charging even easier.
Those who buy an electric model from any Vauxhall retailer will be eligible for one year’s free charging* across 619 stores nationwide. With 70% of those in the UK just 10 minutes away from their local store, this will make public charging a breeze.
Powered by leading charging provider PodPoint, this brings drivers access to over 2,900 charging bays. Each store offers a mix of 7kW, 22kW, 50kW, and 75kW stations for various speeds.
Whether you’re doing the weekly food shop or need a quick top-up, you can charge your electric Vauxhall in a way that suits you.
