The Big Events are key dates in the Motability diary. They bring together everything that’s available on the Motability Scheme, for new and existing customers. You’ll have the opportunity to speak to experts, take test drives, and compare models.

The Big Event - Birmingham
If you were able to attend the flagship Big Event at The NEC in Birmingham on 17th and 18th May, we hope you enjoyed it. If not, don’t worry – we're here to tell you exactly what happened.
The event was a huge success, with thousands of people attending across the two days. It included:
- Over 160 cars, Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAVs) and adaptations.
- Over 70 scooters and powered wheelchairs.
- The opportunity to test drive adapted and standard production cars.
- Expert speakers and Motability Scheme advisors.
- An Electric Vehicle Information Hub.

What to expect at The Big Event
A wide range of standard production and adapted vehicles will be on display. This will include cars and WAVs. There will also be a showcase of powered wheelchairs and scooters.
There will be a dedicated Electric Vehicle Information Hub at each event, with specialists on hand to answer all your queries.
You'll have the opportunity to test drive a range of vehicles including:
- Standard production cars
- Vehicles fitted with popular driving adaptations
- Electric vehicles (with and without adaptations)
- Scooters and powered wheelchairs
